Defects Coordinator
Location: Reading
Salary: TBC- Negotiable depending on experience

Providing services to its customers in the UK for the past 5 years, our client has extensive expertise in delivering a wide range of services and solutions for both fixed and wireless network infrastructure. With a successful track record in some of the biggest Telecom’s projects in the country, they are experiencing a period of growth and expansion.

They are currently looking to recruit a Defects Coordinator/Quality Coordinator who will be responsible for the coordination and acceptance of the build on all Telecoms site, ensuring that defects are managed and closed in a timely manner.
The successful candidate will ensure that all company products and services meet quality standards as well as monitoring and interacting with operatives in the field throughout the build process to ensure that specifications are being met in line with clients’ standards.

Role Requirements

• Monitor and control the process of the build ensuring the highest standards are met.
• Communicate with all levels throughout the build process gathering photographic evidence for acceptance and defect clearance.
• Engaging with customers and clearing any issues that arise from site audits.
• Assist with the Quality Assurance and coordinating the clearing of site defects.
• Liaises with Project Managers/Supervisors and engineers on a daily basis.
• Cleared defects to be uploaded to client’s platforms.
• Maintain a defects database.

Desirable (would be an advantage):
• Quality Assurance experience.
• Knowledge of customers software (PACS, REMEDY, Site handler, QMS, Evenflow).
• Experienced in a Telecoms environment. (Rigging, I&C Engineer, project Coordinator etc…)
