Location: Longstanton, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £30K to £35K D.O.E
Type: Full Time/ Perm
Hours: 40 per week
Holiday: 25 days per annum

Our client is a leading provider of expertise to their clients to maintain and continue the development of the infrastructure of both highways and telecommunications sectors throughout the UK.

They are currently looking for Surveyor to join their team in Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will undertake FTTP surveys both OH and UG in the Openreach network. The Surveyor will also maintain of accurate records and database updates, representative company at onsite meetings and deal with Survey queries.

Role Requirements 
• Working to tight timescales
• Remote working, working without little supervision
• Manage orders through to completion on internal and client databases in real time ensuring data entry is accurate and complete
• Effectively plan works for dedicated resource, liaising with field resource to provide accurate Daily / Weekly updates
• Validation of returned surveys
• Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling
• Manage the day-to-day operational client interface to deliver satisfaction of client needs whilst maximising business value
• Liaise proactively with clients on progress of jobs
• Carry out surveys and audits in a timely manner to ensure the project delivery is being done safely and to a high standard
• Preparation of survey job packs
• Checking of AFP’s submitted by Subcontractors
• Attendance at ad hoc on-site meetings with Council and or Openreach

Candidate Requirements 
• Strong written and oral communication skills, able to work with a wide range of systems and experienced with writing and analysing reports
• Delivery focused, resilient to the end
• Lateral thinker with the ability to provide solutions to complex problems
• Have obtained or the ability to obtain within the first 6 months the necessary
• Openreach accreditations that are S11, S12, S13, S17, S18 & M11
• The ability to understand the network records from Openreach
• Ability to conduct daily conversations with Openreach with regard to works program

Qualifications
• NRSWA operative / Supervisor
• Driving Licence
• Hold CDM Principal Designer qualification – Beneficial
