Job Description
Providing services to its customers in the UK for the past 5 years, our client has extensive expertise in delivering a wide range of services and solutions for both fixed and wireless network infrastructure. With a successful track record in some of the biggest Telecom’s projects in the country, they are experiencing a period of growth and expansion.
They are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- You must have the necessary Electrical qualifications to sign off electrical designs, and for inspection and sign off of electrical installations on telecoms sites in UK.
- At least 3 years of Site Engineering / Installation Engineering / Advanced Engineering experience
- Environmental enclosure design, Enclosure installation & fitout; environmental alarms; site civils; AC/DC Power M&E works to support RBS installations Skills –
Experience:
- Demonstrate understanding of the mobile network.
- Experience in a Telecoms environment
- Good technical abilities
- Clear driving license
- Quick and logical thinking
- The ability to work well under pressure
- Be confident in taking decisions
- Good computer skills
- Good knowledge of MS office pack
- Pay attention to detail
Required Certificates:
- Full Qualified Electrician (C&G NVQ3 or Equivalent)
- 18th Edition Trained – Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018 qualification,
- C&G 2391-52 Inspection and Testing Course (Periodic & Initial)
- City & Guilds 2396 – Electrical Design
- City & Guilds 2394 is a level 3 qualification to train you in initial verification and certification of installations, including 3 phase.
- City & Guilds 2395 is a level 3 qualification to train you the in ‘Principles, practices and legislation for the periodic inspection, testing and condition reporting of electrical installations.
- City & Guilds 2377 – PAT Testing,
- City & Guilds 2392 – Inspection and Testing,
- HND, Degree or relevant industry experience
- Climbing or Working at Height (Rooftop) Trained and Certified (including Medical Clearance, RF Awareness Trained, First Aid Trained)
